This intimate sunrise engagement shoot was beyond romantic! The three of us woke up early to beat the summer beach crowds and we had the entire beach to ourselves – minus the random couple that was leaving their skinny dip together! Yessss…. that was awk, but so funny!! I can not officially add that to my list of stories as a photographer! Even with that little moment, the quiet morning truly was just as perfect as Chereis & Mike are! 

C & M met through mutual friends playing match maker…the best way to meet someone, amirite? After playing cat and mouse for a while, they made it official on NYE 2020. They quarantined together throughout the pandemic and have been inseparable ever since! They say their relationship is easy (in the best way!) and that they balance each other out. Chereis says she’s a true Virgo – planner, over thinker, and TYPE A and that Mike is THE most laid back, happy go lucky guy. Opposites truly do attract! They told me in their pre-shoot questionnaire that they love their love and especially after this sesh, I LOVE THEIR LOVE TOO!

They wanted to capture the raw and intimate moments of their relationship during their shoot and I think we accomplished that! Which I might add, are my favorite moments to capture! Nothing posed or staged… Only true moments in real time.

I am photographing these two later this year at their elopement and I am so so stoked because we truly hit it off immediately during their sesh! Can’t wait to see you two soon! You ready for round 2?!
