Taylor and Jamie’s wedding was on Cinco de Mayo, and just like you would hope, they threw a freakin party! The Hummingbird Nest Ranch was the perfect venue to give these two the elegant and classy feel they wanted for their ceremony, but then get W-I-L-D for the reception! Mariachi band and all!
The color palate these two picked was insane…in the best way! The pop of color just added to the venue’s natural beauty and made the whole day come to life. T + J made sure to have all things you could want on Cinco de Mayo; margaritas and mini tacos during cocktail hour and churros for a late night snack.
On the day of the wedding, my husband and I went to the restaurant where the couple met. The two met while Jamie was working in Taylor’s family’s restaurant. Almost immediately she fell in love with “his charm” and how much he loved their family business. We wanted to be immersed in the whole thing and get a feel for where the two fell in love. It was such a cool way to see where their love story began and then see it come full circle. It didn’t hurt that the food was bomb!
Taylor and Jamie have such a special bond, and you can’t help but see how much they adore each other. The love was contagious all night long! I am so happy to have captured your day and be a part of your ongoing story! It was one for the books!
