Literally LOVED this day so so so much. Emily and Robert dreamed of having their perfect intimate wedding in their parents backyard in San Diego under the stars and that is exactly what they got!

The amount of intentionality and meaning behind the details of the day was so special. Emily grew up in the area so all the locations of the day signified important memories / moments in her life. Cabrillo National park is a special place for them so they wanted to incorporate that in their day and it was the most perfect ceremony spot! Literally straight out of a Nicholas Sparks movie. They only had their siblings in the bridal party to keep it small and intimate which I loved! 

The style was bohemian french cafe and it was warm and elegant with a touch of vintage. Her mom’s antique tables and brass candlesticks were used at the reception which was even MORE special since it was in their own backyard. SO many sweet and meaningful details!! Emily looked STUNNING in her Daughters of Simone dress. I got to drive with Emily and her dad in his fancy car and see how fast it can go, it was a highlight and special moment of the day. 

The two lovebirds and I shared a lot in common like hiking, going to concerts, coffee shops, and cooking food together so it was easy to hit it off with them immediately! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Don’t miss the first look at the lighthouse! (ugh, my heart!!)
